This measure is delivered from the Council's regular survey of Central Bedfordshire residents, last run in 2016.

In 2016, 39% of residents agreed that they can influence decision making, but 47% did not. Whilst the proportion of respondents agreeing with this has increased since 2014, it is by 1% only and is not therefore statistically significant. The Council is progressing a number of actions to improve this figure.
